How it started, My journey, My passion

My journey has included many different paths, which through the years has been an amazing experience. It all started at an young age and it’s what still drives me to this day. I remember taking turns, dips, and curves, I took it all in and learned more and more by each day. My childhood days is when it all started, my mom and I would wake up before sunrise to begin our weekend of treasure hunting at local markets and thrift shops. We always had the mentality that if we're there before doors opened, we would be the first to discover the unknown treasures.

I was given a few dollars as my allowance to buy what I wanted, but I had so much to choose from, top to bottom and side to side it was like a kid in a candy shop. I always seemed overjoyed when I would find a large container or glass jug containing loads of pieces of jewelry, buttons, shells, cameos, crystals, rhinestones and some really odd one of a kind things! Things, that's exactly what they were to me then but I love to collect them. My heart was full of content while I continued looking at more shops and vendors at every turn. I knew I had already scored my treasure for that day and at times spent my allowance, but the love of just walking and looking at more fueled my passion every time. As an adult now with my own family, I have passed the love and passion of treasure hunting to my beautiful daughter, she is my inspiration and my little sidekick.

I still enjoy spending most weekends doing the same adventurous hunts by her side and waiting for my eyes to set on that special piece of something. And from that “something” I would create into my own. My humble and rejuvenating journey continues. As this is my PASSION!
