Cameos. What’s not to love and be fascinated with?

I must have an old soul. I have admired and adored cameos since young childhood. I always thought how cool and unique it was to have a “lady” on a pin/brooch or earrings etc. I early on discovered those beautiful and admirable ladies were indeed cameos. Made from genuine hand carved shell (how tedious) and satisfying and of course your plastic/resin types as well as glass. I am an obsessed collector and fan of the hand-carved shell cameos. The stupendous skill and craftsmanship that goes into every cameo is surreal. Each, so carefully tooled and carved. Speak about attention to detail.

Every lady and woman holds and keeps their own story as do cameos. Starting out in the 18^th century and continuing to this day. Mythological sources mention cameos attract health and good fortune. Their beauty radiates to no limit. Whenever I touch and hold cameo I get a warm sensation. I feel strongly about this- when I look deeply into a cameos face (overall), I usually have one that speaks and calls out to me, not literally but more spiritually and in my heart.

A positive feeling takes over me. Who knew these “ladies” would be a staple in ones accessory wardrobe and be so timeless and elegant. I have put a special twist to them and incorporated my designs making for chic and super wearable creations. Find the lady that speaks to you. She’s out there.
